Tynehead 8 Hour Race

About the Race

The 2nd Annual Tynehead 8 Hour Race on July 14 2013 is a timed race held at the Tynehead Regional Park. Participants will be able to loop around the 4k paved park until they reach their desired distances. The course is scenic with wildlife to be seen as you run. There are washroom facilities set up on site and we will be providing a water station for runners/walkers to refill each loop.

Schedule

Here is the race day schedule:

7:00 AM – Course Setup & Last Minute Registrations
7:15 AM – Runners Pre Warm Up
7:30 AM – Race Start
3:30 PM – Race Finish
4:00 PM – Course Clean Up
5:00 PM – Wrap Up Party?

Parking

There should be sufficient parking at the park. If we get more people who want to park they can park across the street from the park.

Volunteer

If you would like to volunteer at the race please contact me. We will need cheer and water people.

Cost & Registration

The race is $10 per person until March 31, 2013. $15 per person until June 30 and $20 up to the day of the race.

The course does not include a shirt or medal.
